Ways of Giving

The development of the Ithaca Children's Garden site as well as its programs are funded entirely by grants and donations. We greatly anticipate the years ahead as a time for exciting growth. We invite you to join us in supporting the Ithaca Children's Garden.

 

 

Gifts That Help the Garden Grow

Give the gift of learning by supporting programs that inspire, empower, and connect children and youth to the importane of plants and the natural world in their lives.

$5 purchases seeds for one childe to grow veggies at the Garden.

$15 replenishes our supply of kid-sized gardening tools.

$20 provides an Insect Exploration Kit for children to explore the Wildflower Meadow.

$50 brings a two-hour ICG Program to a local elementary school classroom.

$100 employs one teen horticulture apprentice for one week.

$500 plants the Growing Gardens with fruits, vegetables, and cut flowers.

 

 

Named Giving Opportunities

Named giving opportunties help ensure the long-term care and operation of the Ithaca Children's Garden. Therefore, 3% is allocated to an endowment fund. Below are some suggestions from named giving.

Honorary and Memorial Donations

What better way to honor or remember someone than with a donation in an amount you choose. Indicate your donation is a memorial or honorary donation by checking the box on the donation form. Use the back side of your donation form to provide an address and instructions on how you'd like us to recognize your gift to an individual or family. A hand written note and/or acknowledgment on Children's Garden letterhead can be sent to the person or people you indicate.
