Celebrate Your Child’s Birthday at Ithaca Children’s Garden!
What’s Included:
Reserved Shelter Space – Your party includes exclusive use of our small platform shelter, a cozy, covered space with power outlets. (Please note: The shelter is not heated, and the sink is unavailable, but water is accessible from the Kitchen Garden spigot.)
Picnic Table & Flexible Seating – A picnic table near the Kid’s Kitchen is reserved for your party. Additional benches and tables can be moved as needed if available.
Garden-Themed Exploration Kit (to be returned at the end of your party) – Encourage hands-on discovery with a kit including:
- 5 fish nets
- 10 magnifying glasses
- Paper and crayons
A Special Birthday Bouquet – The birthday child will receive a hand-tied bouquet of fresh flowers from the Garden.
Seasonal Nature Activities – Before your party, we’ll send a list of fun, self-guided activities tailored to the season. These may include:
- Nature scavenger hunt
- Color wheel walk
- Flower or insect identification
- Fairy house building
- Fall leaf crowns
An ICG T-Shirt for the Birthday Child – A fun keepsake to remember their special day!
Important Information
- Public Garden: While your party space is reserved, Ithaca Children’s Garden remains open to the public.
- Restrooms: A portapotty is available, and Cass Park restrooms can be accessed through the north gate.
- No On-Site Staff: ICG staff will ensure your space is clean and set up, but a staff member will not be present during the party.
- Carry-In, Carry-Out: Please bring a way to carry out your trash after the party.
