Ithaca Children’s Garden Welcomes Erin Marteal as Interim Executive Director

Ithaca, NY – February 29, 2024 – Ithaca Children’s Garden (ICG) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Erin Marteal as Interim Executive Director, effective immediately. Erin, who served as Executive Director from 2011 to 2022 and returned to ICG as Development Director, will now take on this new role while the organization searches nationwide for its next permanent leader.

Expressing profound gratitude for Erin’s willingness to step into this vital position, Brock Gibian, ICG’s Board of Directors President, stated, “We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of Erin’s caliber leading us through this transition period. Her diverse experience, deep understanding of our organization, and unwavering commitment to our staff and programming make her the perfect choice to guide ICG forward.”

Erin Marteal brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role.
