Ithaca’s favorite autumnal celebration saw 500 visitors making scarecrows, carving pumpkins, tasting apples, and celebrating the bounty of the season.
This past Saturday, October 13th, the Garden held its 18th Scarecrow Jubilee. Despite some morning drizzle, the weather cooperated to deliver a perfect fall afternoon. With live music from The Ravines, and a puppet show from Lily Silly Puppets, visitors were entertained long after they had finished their scarecrow masterpieces. Complete with apple tasting, fall-themed crafts, and playing in the Garden, it was great to see so much of the ICG community joining in the fun!
